HP Notebook - 15-da0012dx

I've had this product for 5 years and I had never had a problem with it, until last week. The battery seems to be dying on me for no reason. I've tested it by charging it 100%, used it, and turned it off but once I turn it on again, it allows me to go to the desktop then it dies on me even though it does have battery life. But once I plug it again, it says it has 0% percent. So I was wondering could it just be the battery itself or is it something else? Also where can I find the correct battery for it?

Hello @NS-

I suspect that the battery needs to be replaced after such a long time. It has probably already had too many charging cycles.

Do you need more help ?

Kind regards
