Microsoft Windows 11

Hi,

I would like to replace the battery on my HP Elite Dragonfly (Model Number : 6FW20AV), after checking i currently have the battery EP02XL, wich i cannot find any available to buy. But after more digging i found the model EP04XL wich seems to have the same size & screw placements but is more powerful.

My question is, is it possible to replace my current battery  (EP02XL) with the EP04XL or another model still available for purchase ?

Thank you for your help.

From the Maintenance & Service guide

Battery

Description                       HP Part number
4 cell, 56 Whr                    L52581-005
2 cell, 38 Whr                  L71760-005

Only use genuine HP batteries that have the HP part number and the HP logo on them.

Non-genuine (generic), ( i.e HT03XL) batteries are known to sometimes not work as expected because of their non standard programming of the internal BMS (battery management system) chip.

If you read through threads in the forum related to problems after battery replacement you will see many members who have used generic batteries complaining that they are not working as expected.
