My battery for my laptop died and I'm looking for a replacement. The laptop model number is 15-ay053ca. On the current dead battery I believe it says 10.95V & 31 Wh. Every replacement I have found online was a higher voltage. Can someone please direct me to a battery replacement that would be complatible with my device?

Welcome to the forum @JustWantBattery
Yes all the NEW replacement batteries should be 14.8v.
HP part number: 807957-001

So even if my curent battery is 10.95V the 14.8 V will work on my laptop? I don't want anything bad to happen if I buy one that is 14.8 V.
I have a link open and I'm not sure if it will work: https://www.amazon.com/807956-001-807957-001-807612-421-HSTNN-LB6U-HSTNN-LB6V/dp/B074ZJWNN8/ref=cm_c...
This linked one is 14.8 V and 2200mAh; 4 Cells while the one that came with the laptop is 10.95V and 2750mAh; 3 Cells. Just wanted to make sure this one would have no issues.
Thanks for the help!

Sorry @JustWantBattery but I cannot recommend any Battery or AC adaptor that is not Original/OEM!!!
It may or may not work correctly???
I just do not trust China " KNOCK-OFFS " like that one.
If it is Original/OEM it will have the HP logo printed on the battery.

P.S. Your AC is "SMART" so I would stick with an Original/OEM battery!!!

Is this one considered genuine?
