Hello,

I own an OMEN 17-cb1000 Laptop PC (product code: 8VX04AV) running Windows 11. I recently ordered a replacement battery from the official HP website: Model: ASSY-BATT 3C 50Wh 4.33Ah LI SS03050XL-PL

The battery has not yet arrived, but I’ve already opened the back cover of the laptop to prepare for installation. I noticed several screws securing the internal battery, and I’d like to make sure I follow the correct procedure.

Could someone provide:

  • A step-by-step guide or video tutorial for replacing the internal battery on this specific model

  • Clarification on how to safely disconnect the battery connector from the motherboard

  • Any precautions I should take during removal and installation
