I would like to buy some screws to install a battery in an HP x360 830 G6 Elitebook.  Can somebody help me with a place to buy these and a link or part number?

Thanks!

Hi,

Thanks for the response.

My laptop is an X360 830 G6 (different than the one you found).  Could you perhaps let me know the proper screws for mine?

They are M2.0X3.5 and I would really like to find where to get  some, etc.

Thanks!

Here is the right service Manual:

Single screws are hard to find. I do believe the screws you need are the same as used to fasten down an M.2 SSD. Very short.

Here is the right screw kit:

Screw Kit L56455-001

HP wants $53 for the screw kit which would be robbery and I am pretty sure they will not break it up for you:

This kit has M2.0 x 3 and 4 screws and pretty sure a 3 mm M2.0 screw would work. If you can just get a thread or 2 to grab that is all you need as the battery is not going anywhere once you bolt down the back cover. Good luck.
