Failure description -  Battery Swelling

 Can you guys help me with this? My laptop is not starting. And I'm scared to put my laptop back to charging.

Hello @ShivangiS 

 

Pay attention, defective battery is dangerous !

Your apartment/house could be destroyed by a battery fire.

 

In your case: Service is required !
- The computer should be disassembled and checked.
- Thermal paste for CPU GPU and bridges should be renewed
- The function of the fan(s) must be checked

- Battery must be replaced !

- General cleaning ...

 

Replace battery and you are safe !

If you can't do that, you should have it serviced by a professional notebook (chip level) repair store.
