Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

II changed laptop's battery 2 months ago. Since then, the battery timing was good but now it has been decreased. Moreover, in the HP Support Assitant, whenever I run Battery Check up, is says 'battery not detected'. Kindly help me, despite changing the battery with a new one, why the timing is still very low and why HP Support Assistant is not showing the battery. Are there any tests needed to be run?

Thank You

If the battery is not detected its hard to test it. I would say your new battery has failed. Should be under some kind of warranty.

II understand. Isn't there any way of testing the battery through other systems? Like BIOS at the boot up menu? Maybe it can make a change.

You can try. Tap esc as you power up then F2 for menus and pick diagnostics-power and battery and also check the AC adapter while you are at it.
