Product: Example: Pavilion
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Pavilion  15-ab157nr.  I got an error message indicating battery replacement necessary.  I replaced the battery with the exact genuine HP replacement battery.  The HP Assistant now indicates Battery Unknown.  The battery charges normally and the battery indicator shows the charging and charge amount with the charger connected.  The laptop works well.  How can I correct whatever the problem is and eliminate the Battery Unknown message?  Thank you.
