Hi,
as in title I would like to know if it is possible to upgrade the actual battery with another that has longer life.
Rather overall satisfied by this laptop but the battery life that is REALLY poor! and don't last more than 2 hours! Really disappointing.
Any possibility to upgrade the battery? or maybe exists some additional dock that has a large battery included on the base?
Thank you!

Hi,
I was trying both of your suggestions and on BIOS update notebook got stuck in the "programing pei region" !!!
Then trying to restart it, the bios update started once again and the got a 500 bios error...
It rebooted again and now and can log in but no news yet about the battery!
The bios seems now updated despite those errors...
Let's see, I'll report it!
Thanks for the moment!

Hi again,
I've tried your solution but nothing seems changed!
I've just run the powercfg/batteryreport and it gives me and estimate battery life of 1:58 min
Now testing the "real life" duration just with a playback of a movie... but doubt will be better!
Back to the first question then: is there any way to UPGRADE the system installing some new more powerful battery?
Any other solution available to be able to work with it more than 2hrs far from energy?
Thank you!!!

Hello @MMMCC
I checked specification:
HP ENVY x360 - 15-cn1001nw Product Specifications
" Someone has added 10 hours to the real battery power ... ? "
Battery type | 3-cell, 52.5 Wh Li-ion |
Battery life mixed usage | Up to 12 hours and 15 minutes |
Video Playback Battery life | Up to 11 hours and 45 minutes |
Either the specification is not correct or the battery is defective. Something is wrong here.
Kind regards

OK @Ub6424 ! Thanks for taking the time to follow up this issue!
Yep, def smthg wrong! because the specs I gave are correct and the laptop is barely unused - I did used it only on holidays for 5-6 times but absolutely not a daily use!
I'll maybe buy a new battery to see if things goes better!
Wow! 12hrs would be a dream! ;))
