Hello, my laptop gave me error code 601 stating that I may need to replace the primary battery. I am wondering what battery would be compatible with my HP Pavillion 15-cs0061cl?

 

I am also curious what I would need to do to upgrade my laptop from 8 to 16 GB RAM?

You can buy a replacement battery from HP, at the link below:   $84.21

If you don't want to spend that much on a new battery, you can search by the HP battery part number and find a compatible aftermarket battery that references that part number.

 

The model series also has a 4-cell battery available which is listed in chapter 3, page 21 of the service manual.
