Please someone that have dv0xxxnl with processor 1165g7 to share your experience.
I have this trouble: battery life is 2 hours of job 😞 only using pc for web surfing.
Processor has temp very high: 93-97 degrees. Temp range is very instable 50-97 and also power wattage.
Only using pc for internet surfing, right side over the keyboard and down after 10 minutes are hot.
From the left side near the screen must be exit the hot air from fans, the air instead of hot is cold.
anyone?

Hi@alexzangi, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
We don't suspect its battery it looks like the CPU is getting hot.
Try running the battery test pushing( keep tapping ) F2 system diagnostics imminently after powering on.
Check for the BIOS update?
Check for the windows update?
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

CPU is always in overheat after login, monitored using CORETEMP software.
taskmanager show that CPU is at max 10%, this is no sense. The CORE is HOT and windows is working at 10% max.
So using powercfg /energy i discover the software that use CPU
The only driver that misbehaved was an NVIDIA geforce experience file (i don't remember the exact name). I reinstall NVIDIA DRIVERS using HP version and not the one taken from NVIDIA site. At the moment no more overheat CPU.
Another power trouble: i'm upgrade from windows home to PRO and the battery runs out earlier. Need some tricks to remove some services from PRO.
About BIOS: no differences F.11-F.12-F.14. Tested all versions and the situation was the same before reinstall NVIDIA drivers.
Independently now even without overheat I notice that the 43w battery is underpowered for an 1165g7 CPU. The PC gets very hot on the right side especially when connected to the power supply.

This is the temperatures when i start the pc:
When i use battery i have only Core Limit Exceeded but the battery lives only for 2,30 hours without using application or games 😞
The Temperature on chassis is high only after ten minutes.
My guess is that the conductive paste between the heatsink and the processor is missing, it would explain the NOT too hot air coming out of the grates under the monitor.

Laptop repaired.
Solution for high temp is : bad part.
Headsink replaced (the heatsink was from another pc?)
Now temp is OK no more overheating!!!
Another trouble: battery drain when pc is on and off. USB charging disabled. The pc is always hot (the MB, processor and video cards have normal temperature) maybe is battery.
Another ticket 😞 and another 15 days of assistance. I'm very sad.
