Hi there,
I have had this laptop for a few years but hasnt been working for the last year. The battery is needing replaced as it holds a charge for about 10 minutes, but the charging port also needs replaced as when charging it goes on and off like im taking the charging cable out and putting it back in even when it's sitting still. I think I found a replacement battery on a site called Battery buy . Co . Uk for £29.10. However I can't find a replacement charge port for this model (not sure on the length of the cable on the charge port as I can't find a guide that shows the replacement for this specific model).
Any advice and support would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Chris.

Replace the battery first then worry about the charging port. Often a dying battery will go into an intermittent charging mode and look like the port or adapter is bad and a lot of people buy more parts than they need. If a new battery does not resolve it we can move to Step 2.

Thats me ordered a new battery. Thanks for your help as that helped me find the correct battery. It had a mix of reviews so hopefully it works out. Got it from amazon will be delivered tomorrow so ill see how things go.
The part number for the charging port didnt help much as still couldnt find that part.

Thanks for the advice. Just ordered the battery so hopefully that works. The laptop isnt high spec or anything, im just trying to get it to last longer and i would be buying a better laptop that has a better cpu with more cores late this year when its needed.
Ill keep yous posted and hopefully its just the battery.
