Hi @Ram2406,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're stoked to have you on board!

To help us get started on resolving your issue, could you please share the model name of your device?

I understand you’ve bought a replacement battery for your HP laptop and want to calibrate it manually, but you don’t see the UEFI “Battery Calibration” option. Let’s go over your options.

1. Check BIOS/UEFI Carefully

Restart your laptop → press Esc or F10 repeatedly to enter BIOS/UEFI.

Look for a section like Advanced → Power → Battery Calibration.

On some newer HP laptops, manual battery calibration is removed, and calibration is handled automatically by Windows.

2. Manual Calibration via Windows (Alternative)

Even without UEFI support, you can calibrate your battery manually:

Step 1: Fully Charge

Plug in the laptop and charge it to 100%.

Leave it plugged in for an additional 2 hours after reaching 100%.

Step 2: Fully Discharge

Unplug the laptop and let it discharge completely by using it normally until it shuts down automatically.

Step 3: Full Recharge

Charge it back to 100% without interruption.

This helps the system learn the battery’s true full charge capacity.

3. HP Battery Check / HP Support Assistant

Open HP Support Assistant → Battery → Battery Check.

This tool can help diagnose battery health and sometimes perform a software calibration.

4. Tips

Perform this calibration once a month for a few cycles to maintain accurate battery reporting.

Avoid letting the battery stay at 0% for extended periods.

If your laptop supports Fast Charge, disable it temporarily during calibration to ensure full cycles.

I hope this helps.
