Product: Hp victus 15 i5-12500h
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I was setting my HP Victus 15 fa0007nt, but I wasn't sure whether to charge it for 3 hours, or 12 hours or not at all. Do the new computers need to be charges 12 hours to be re-calibrated or is that for old laptops?

Your first charge is always your most important charge. When you buy a new laptop, you’ll want to charge your battery for 24 hours to make sure that it gets a full charge on its first go. Giving your battery a complete charge during its first charge will prolong its life
