Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

LED light beside the charger plug inserted in laptop usually shows white colour on full charge and orange colur when battery is still charging. But nowadays laptop stops charging randomly even when battery is still not full and LED light shows white colur , and afters few second LED light shows orange colur and laptop charging resumes. So laptop stops charging even when battery is not at 100% and LED light shows white colour which is full charge signal. It usually happens between 70% to 100%.

Laptop's power once turned off while i was still working 

So problem is that battery charging is fluctuating between full charging and still charging even below 100% battery .And laptop stopped on it own.

Perform the HP battery test with HP Support Assistant. See if it gives you a failure code.
