Hi,

 

I recently bought one of these laptops: https://www.hp.com/de-de/shop/product.aspx?id=816g0ea&opt=abd&sel=ntb

 

While everything seems to work nicely, I really miss the functionality to limit battery charging. Reading a lot of other issues for 250 G7-G9 on this forum, there was no clear answer if this feature is available for these laptops as well as for the G10 series. 

 

Often there is a generic answer and a reference to this article, which clearly says:

 

HP Battery Health Manager was released in 2018 and is available on all HP business notebooks released in 2016 or later.

 

Well we have 2024 and unfortunately my G10 laptop does not have this option in Bios, even with the newest version available.

 

So my question is:

Is there another way to limit battery charging to lets say 80%, or will this feature ever be implemented in the G10 series?
