Hi everyone,
Recently, my laptop battery does not charge more than 92%!!
I used the HP battery test and diagnostic tool to find out the problem and the result is as per below, which means there is no problem!
I have also done the followings:
- uninstalled "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Embedded Controller" from device manager
- "Calibrate the battery manually" described https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04700771
Is there anybody to help me with what is the problem and solution? is it a hardware (battery) issue or software issue?
Thank you in advance

The battery is likely just fine.
No, I don't expect you to think so.
The battery is over a year old - batteries degrade over time.
Is it normal that you have lost 8% in the year and some odd months?
This tiny loss of charge seems normal to me - remember, I am not expecting you to agree.
What to do?
Keep an eye on it - battery may continue to "hold steady" for a while or the battery may continue its slow decline.
Battery may do fine for a while and then, Poof! Fail. This is unlikely - but batteries can do the unexpected.
What else?
Run the Battery Report - keep it as a base line check for later.

Is your notebook plugged in and not charging?
What else?
Can't stand it?
Freaking out? (means "stressed, overwhelmed, unhappy, and anxious")
Purchase a new battery.
This is NOT necessary for a nearly great battery, but you must do what you feel is right for you.
