Hello.
I discharged (accidentenlly) my laptop completly (so I think) and Win10 shutdown as it normally would.
I plugged the power cord back and gave some charge time before turning it on again.
Now the battery charge does not pass 75% plugged to electricity.
I remove power cord, plug it again and it charges for a moment and stops at 75%.
I already run PC HP Harware Diagnostic and it says battery is fine.
This laptop is always connected to electricity, it just discharged and shutdown this one time.
Does anyone knows why this is happenning?
Thank you

Any help on this???
I already did everything mentioned in this thread:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04700771
In the Hardware Diagnosis UEFI It says the battety is OK the option "Calibrate Battery" does not appear!
Every test I made says the battery is fine!
I discharged completly and charged 3 times and it does not charge to 100%, stops at 75%.

Welcome to HP support community.
Let's try re-installing the Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery
1) In the search box, type and open “Device Manager”.
2) Expand “Batteries”.
3) Right click the "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" that is listed there.
4) Click on “Uninstall”.
5) At the prompt put a check in the box to remove the current driver
6) Shutdown the computer.
7) Remove the battery for minute and then put it back in.
8) When the computer comes back up it should automatically find the driver.
9) Go to Device Manager.
10) Expand Batteries.
11) Right click the "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" that is listed there.
12) Click "Search automatically for updated driver software". Do the same thing with Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Embedded Controller.
Also, try updating the computer -
Step 1 Windows Updates -
1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Step 2 HP Support Assistant Updates -
1) In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
I hope that helps.

Thank you for your reply.
However, the isssue presists.
I uninstalled "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" driver like you said.
I was unable to remove the battery since this laptop model has "enclosed" battery. I would have to open it to remove it and I don't have the toolset (or the skillset) to do that.
Driver " Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Embedded Controller"is not listed in device manager under Battery.
Windows is fully upadted so is HP support Assistant.
Any other suggestions would be welcomed.
Thank you
