Got a couple years old pavillion notebook. Works as it should, except that the battery does not charge to 100%, just to ca 30%. 

 

After a systemcheck a got a errorcode, 

 

MCVXVS-8G9A22-MFPX6K-C0DU13

 

I need help with a solution..! Should i replace the battery? the warrenty has expired, but i could proablebly find someone that could replace it for me..

@Hellberg The failure ID you've mentioned (MCVXVS-8G9A22-MFPX6K-C0DU13) has been successfully deciphered and it represents the failure code 601, that means Battery 1 failure,

The best way forward is to have the battery replaced, and since the warranty has expired, you could replace it on your own:

 

Here's the universal part number of the replacement battery: L11119-855

you may order the replacement parts on the HP Parts Store, If you've already looked for it and couldn't find it on the HP Parts Store, you may want to get it locally at the online store such as Amazon or eBay, etc...

Although, I personally suggest getting a local tech involved, just to be on a safer side.
