Hello,
I have the Ryzen Envy x360 (5TV95UA#ABA), and it doesn't seem to hold a charge. It loses about 10% battery every day when powered off or in hibernate, and obviously more than that in sleep mode. I have fastboot turned off, I've tried putting all the power settings to the most optimal for preserving battery life. What's interesting is sometimes if I'm charging it and using it at the same time and unplug before I shut down it seems to hold the charge, but usually I plug it in after it's been used and let it charge while off until the light goes from orange to white. If I use it again in the next few hours it'll be at 100%, but after that it starts dropping. And the WIndows battery report and sleep study show no drain at all, it almost seems like maybe it doesn't charge to 100% when it's charged with the power off? I'm not sure.
Thank you,
Dan

@dlford, Welcome to HP Support Community!
First, try testing and calibrating the battery. Refer to this document HP Notebook PCs - Testing and Calibrating the Battery (Windows) for instructions.
Perform a BIOS update. Download and follow the on-screen instructions to install the update. Click here.
Also, Re-install Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery. Follow the steps below:
1) In the search box, type, and open “Device Manager”.
2) Expand “Batteries”.
3) Right-click the "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" that is listed there.
4) Click on “Uninstall”.
5) At the prompt put a check in the box to remove the current driver
6) Shutdown the computer.
7) Remove the battery for a minute and then put it back in.
😎 When the computer comes back up it should automatically find the driver.
9) Go to Device Manager.
10) Expand Batteries.
11) Right-click the "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" that is listed there.
12) Click "Search automatically for updated driver software"
Do the same thing with Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Embedded Controller.
Keep the PC on observation and let me know the outcome.
Hope this helps!
