Hello,
This happened while I was using my laptop with 65% battery charged and adapter unplugged.
After noticing the 65% charge I connected the power adapter(charger), as I connected the charger the "Locking" message showed (which normally appears when the laptop is going to hibernate after battery falls below 5%, but it showed while my battery was at 65%), and after that the laptop goes in hibernate mode.
After I opened it by pressing the power button the battery showed to be 7% charged.
So this indicates that my battery drained from 65% to 5% just by connecting the charger.
Also this problem happens again randomly, sometimes it will happen sometimes it will not.
Conclusion: - My battery drains from 40%-65% to less than 5% just by connecting the charger. So please guide me how this happened and how to solve this.
1. My laptop is regularly updated.
2. I also uninstalled the "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery", & it automatically reinstalled.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the battery is discharging when you connect the charger.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I recommend you update the BIOS from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.
