Possible yes but not good. The laptop is not that old. Have you run a diagnostic test on the battery?

Post back the advanced results if you can. The internal battery is used by the system for keeping the computer clock which runs all the time. Therefor it uses a trickle of power even if the laptop is completely off. Also, Windows 11 puts the computer into a kind of hybrid sleep which lets it boot up faster. That draws a bit of power. 5% or so per day is very normal. 44% per day is not. Do you leave any peripheral like a mouse or external keyboard connected when you shut down? This article explains how to truly shut down. Try that and see how much power you lose.
