So my battery is playing some tomfoolery last 2 months. It has been shutting down even if it is on 85% battery. Here is the error code:M888HS-8T19G4-XD7UQK-C0EK13. Any usefull suggestions?

Sorry to hear that.

 

Failure ID M888HS-8T19G4-XD7UQK-C0EK13 translates to Failure Code 601 or "Battery 1."

 

Since you're out of warranty, your best course of action would be to replace the battery. Here are your options with their associated part numbers:

 

4-cell, 41-Whr, 2.8-Ah Li-ion battery 919701-850

3-cell, 31-Whr, 2.8-Ah Li-ion battery 919700-850

 

You can then use the HP Spare part number(s) in the HP Parts store hereYou may also be able to find it elsewhere on the Internet.
