Here is the Maintenance & Service guide for your laptop model series. (see chapter 3,page 22, item 19)

Both batteries are compatible with your laptop. I suggest using the one matching the part number on the original battery

It is highly recommended to purchase and install only Genuine HP part numbered batteries. "Compatible" batteries have been known to not always operate as expected.
