.The battery is NEW. The battery of my hp 840G5 laptop fluctuate and sometimes when plugged out it goes from 50-20% in just 5 minutes  and when it is plugged it goes from 20-50 % in just 3-4 minutes.

I suggest running the battery diagnostics or the Windows Battery-Report utility to find out what the actual condition of the battery is.

Sir when I got laptop the battery was new it's start fluctuate after 3 days and then the shopkeeper replaces it with new battery . I guess if it has to do something with battery software but window shows drivers  uptodata and  hp support assistant shows all software and drivers are already updated
