Hi,

I buy laptop HP 255 G7 bios version F.42. How turn on Advance tab in bios or where I find Battery Helath Manager? I want to limit charge to 80%

Hi:

 

The notebook does not have any battery health manager option in the BIOS.

 

I have two HP 255 G7's.

 

That feature is not supported.

 

You need one of the more expensive HP Elitebooks to have that feature.

 

Just don't leave the battery in a constant 100% charge state 24/7/365 and you will be fine.

 

I run mine off the battery once in a while and don't leave them plugged into the A/C adapter all of the time.

 

Leaving the battery in a constant 100% charge state may lead to battery swelling.

ok thx, I hear some laptops have hide advance tab in bios but I try many method for example ctrl+f1, key "A" etc but nothing works

You're very welcome.

 

There are no advanced settings to access in any HP PC.

 

What you see is what you get...and that is not much.
