Hi, I have a problem with my battery.

1) It drain 15% overnight.

2) I have opened my pc after 2 days, it was at 50%, I've started using it for 1-2 minute when it shutted down. To start it again I put the charger and open it. It was 0%. But I didn't use it for 2 days!

3) I have done the calibration and the battey is ok, I'll put screenshot as attachment.

4) I've unistalled the driver and searched for update. Nothing seem to solve this problem.

I ask your help, thank you.

The complete charge number (in watt Hrs) tells me that the battery needs to be replaced with a new one.

It is very near the end of its service life.

Thank you for the reply.

But... How is it possible that I need to change the battery after only 182 cycles?

The complete charge number is not only the 66% of the project?

Today, I've turned on the pc and the battery was at 98%. Some days ago, same time between the last charge and turning on and was 85%.

I've done the scan of the battery (see photo). Now the complete charge number is 59%. Yesterday was 66%. Is it possible that the problem is in the software and not in the hardware? battery 3.jpg

In my experience, and that of many others who have posted with the same issue here in the forum, that is unlikely to be the case.

Today the pc seems to work well. The battery hadn't loose charge.

I always use my pc connected to the power when the battery is full. Rarely I use the pc unplugged. I've read that if the battery is full I can use it plugged without problem for the battery. This is true?

" I've read that if the battery is full I can use it plugged without problem for the battery. "

That is partially true.

It is good for the health of the battery for you to use it, at least occasionally, down to about 20% on battery alone.
