Hi I would like to ask if someone can help me as I couldn't find the same problem anywhere else. My battery is fully charged when I have the AC adapter plugged but the instant i turn it off the laptop shuts down. I tried to check the battery with the HP program but it said the battery was ok. Also when i plug the AC adapter back the battery is still fully charged. The problem also started out of nowhere because last week I was able to last about 2 hours of work with the battery and then one day nothing. I also tried if the program is even able to detect the battery but than still functions as when i remove the battery it says it is not there as it should. I would be thankful for any kind of help.

Thank you! This one helped I didn't see that there was a option for advanced information but there I saw that the fourth cell of the battery has 0mV charge so it is broken. But i don't know why it says it is ok then...

@Ub6424 I don't want to argue with you but when I look up the specifications of my laptop on hp site it says that it should be 6 cell battery. But if you say that it only is a 3 cell then I really don't know where the problem is
