Hello fellow Humans!
I just installed a new battery to my computer, and it doesn't work. The computer wouldn't detect it, so I can't EVEN turn it on w/o wired connection (my usual for this computer). I tried uninstalling some drivers from device manager, but it hasn't done anything. Battery is a cc06, it fits inside (that's what she said) but it doesn't do anything other than fit. Also the power indicator is blinking orange. Did I miss something that needs to be done so the computer can detect the battery? Is the motherboard somehow damaged? If so, how can I identify that the battery part of the motherboard is damaged?
