I had bought this laptop back in November and has only used it for light use really, with the occasional gaming.
The battery life has bee rather poor, maxing out at only 4 hours of use. It was advertised that the battery would last for 16 hours. Whilst I am not expecting the full usage, I thought the battery would last for at least 8 hours.
I have updated the drivers and done everything I can, but the battery has not improved.

@pufferfish45
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that you have 4-cell, 53 Wh Li-ion polymer installed on the PC.
Aa 4-cell can last from 2.5 to even 3.5 hours, but that will vary due to specific details like screen brightness, battery power settings Airplane mode.
Click here: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c01297640 to know how to Improve Battery Performance (Windows) ( refer to Battery care practices )
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
