Common problems for Battery
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about: Battery Reports, Hold a charge, Test and Calibrating Battery . Check out this link: Is your notebook plugged in and not charging?

Last night I closed my laptop and I didn't realize I had used almost all my battery. This morning it wasn't starting, so I assumed correctly I had ran out of battery.

Plugged it in.

Did my thing. Opened it up. Everything fine.

But then, I noticed this:

it's chargingit's charging

Yes. It is charging but it's been at 5% for a while now. I woulnd't mind usually. But this is the second time it has happened in less than two months.

Last time I thought there was a problem with the battery. I did the "check drivers" thing, scanned it, deleted it one of them so it would download it again. Nothing worked. I made an appointment with a technician on Friday for the following Monday. On Sunday everything came back to normal. Of course.

**bleep**?????

There was a recent update, so I'm sure it has to do with that. Why? Do I have to wait for this to magically change on its own again?

I notice that you have Windows 11 installed.

From what I see in the laptop model's web support pages, there is no support for Windows 11.

That means no updated drivers for Windows 11, so that is likely to be the reason it is not operating as you would expect.

AS far as updates go, you can uninstall Windows updates and also pause updates to keep them from happening.
