Following the continued reading in another part of the forum, I have managed to fix my charging problem of 79% since the last bios update on my tablet. I follwoed a suggestion that you turn off your computer, leave for good 5 seconds, turn it back on and immediately and repeatedly press "esc" button. This takes you to a bios window (F10) here i used my up/down arrows to scroll to power management. There was a feature within here that was set to protect may battery and set the charging limit to 80%. I clicked on that an amended using the arrow toggle to let hp manage my power. Then pressing esc, i went back in the screens and the machine asked me to save the setting and log out of bios. Turning the machine on my 79% problem has now gone and the system is charging as it did before the bios update to full charge again and is now at 84% as i write this.
