Hello, 

 

Issue :  Battery stops charging after few seconds...After connected to the power it displays "Plugged in, not charging" message.

 

Referring to the resolutions on the same issue posted in the HP community, have conducted UEFI Tests, and obtained below info :

 

Battery check : Primary - Replace(42)

Primary: Logic State -OK(0), Change State - Blown Fuse(42)

FAILURE ID : 9QF5BK-8N59MW-MFPURF-C0A603

PRODUCT ID : 2DS92UAR#ABA

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Is there any solution other than replacing battery?.....Need below option if replacement is required:

1..What is the model no of the battery?... or how can I obtain ?

2.cost of the same in India.

3. Contact for purchase.

Thanks for sharing the failure ID, I have tried to decode the failure ID and it sounds like the battery has gone faulty. Please replace the faulty battery.

 

Error-Battery 1-601

 

You can replace the battery with the following part number.

 

807957-001    Battery pack - 4-cell lithium-ion (Li-Ion), 2.8Ah, 41Wh (HS04041-CL)

 

Also, you can purchase the part from HP parts store using this link. Click Here

 

Or please contact HP support for service options.

I am facing the same issue today on wards, i may have not noticed yesterday. I strongly believe the error started only after i installed the driver update. see attached screen short below..
