Hello! I have a problem with my battery.
My stock battery work about a year, then died(thinking because of heat, i am visit few hot countries that year).
So I bought myself brand new KB06XL from ebay. It lived about few months, and died too...
Now i get lucky, and get new on in local store a hour ago.
Still, 4cell dead in diagnostics app.(pic attached)
Em i, somehow, kill my power controller?

Or its just normal state(that 4th cell, and i just got unlucky with my battery from ebay)?

That is a new battery (0 cycles) that has been stored for nearly a year since manufacture (319 days). It holds 98% of the power capacity it was designed to hold which you would expect after one year of storage without use. It is absolutely normal to have one cell showing zero mv. Here is the same screen from my personal Zbook 15 G3 which is working perfectly but if you see, cell 1 is showing zero mv. I see a lot of these test screens here and I am usually the one asking to see them to help with battery diagnostics. In almost every one I have seen, one cell shows as zero volts.

Hm, i see, thank you!

But, then, wich method i should use to check is my battery just died or my mainbord corrupting them?

I am not clear. Is the new battery working? You might want to do a complete test on all the hardware in the laptop. Tap esc as you power up then F2 and then component tests. Run the long test on everything and see if errors. If not and new battery works, then I think you can assume you got bad batteries before and there is nothing wrong with the laptop hardware.

Yeah, its working fine.

All test are passed, and not showing any issues.

Well, maybe it was only a bad battery.Thank you for clerefication the 0v cell situation for me 🙂
