Product: HP Laptop PC 15-dy2000 (2D115AV)

I have a HP 15dy2131 laptop and I had a problem with the DC power jack cable wire harness witch I replaced because it wasn't charging my battery but after replacing it I'm still have the same problem so I replaced the battery witch is dose turn on because the battery comes halfway changed but wile it's plugged in it's not charging so when the battery dies the laptop turns off and doesn't go on. The charging lite indicator turns on only when the battery has life to it but once it's depleted it does not. hope all this makes sense and hopefully some one can help me out thanks in advance
