From your description, it appears that your HP Laptop - 14s-er0003tu is showing a battery status of 0% even when plugged in, and the HP diagnostics indicate that the battery has aged and is no longer holding a charge effectively. This is a common sign that the battery has reached the end of its usable life and needs replacement.

Steps to Resolve:

Confirm Battery Health

Before proceeding with replacement, you can run the HP Battery Check using HP Support Assistant:

  • Download HP Support Assistant: HP Support Assistant Download
  • Open the app > Go to Battery Check under the "Battery" section.
  • This will confirm if the battery needs replacement.

Battery Model for Replacement

Your laptop model typically uses the HT03XL battery. Please verify this by checking the battery label (if accessible) or HP PartSurfer

 

Purchase a Genuine HP Battery

You can purchase a replacement battery from:

  • HP Parts Store – Search for your laptop model.
  • Alternatively, contact an HP Authorized Service Center for assistance with battery replacement.

 Important: Avoid using third-party or non-genuine batteries as they may not be compatible and could void your warranty or cause damage.
