Hello all and thank you in advance for your attention.
I recently purchased the Laptop 15-fd0008ca. While it seems fast, in in the specs it says its battery lasts 7.5 hours with mixed used and I found out it just lasts two hours, if so. Has anyone found this issue as well? why the untrue statement about the battery in the specs? Thank you all!

Battery life claims on laptops are like gas mileage claims on new cars. There is a test somewhere that backs up the claim but the real life results are never as good. I suspect you can get more than 2 hours out of your battery by following some runtime stretching tips, but 7.5 hours is probably much better than you can achieve with an i7 processor, dedicated video card and a big high resolution screen. 3-4 hours is more realistic. It is a pretty large battery

Thank you Huffer for your kind comment and the article.
The processor in my laptop is i5.When offering something and to cover intentions, the term "up to" is used, so, when stating "up to 7.5 hours" I guess any higher number could have been used. shielded by the term. Is called marketing. At the end, we are what we give. Thanks again.
