It's been a year almost since I bought HP victus gaming laptop. I used to keep it in plugged even if it reached 100%, since I don't want my pc to run on battery. Compared to other company pc, where they have an inbuilt software for battery optimisation. Although battery adaptive optimisation is turned on, I'd like to maintain it at 80%. Due to unavailability of this option, are there any way to do it in my pc? Since it is not available at present, these are following suggestion i found:
charge to 80, and then use on battery, till 40, then charge again
charge to 100, maintain at it, and discharge till 5 once every 3 month
Currently battery is 48mWh, which was around 52mWh initially, is this good or bad?
Is there any way to do optimisation which I prefer in HP victus gaming laptop 15.6?

Don't worry. Gaming laptops are completely safe to remain connected to the power source once they reach 100% charge. HP laptops such as Victus Series and Omen Series gaming laptops come with a battery management system that bypasses the battery by supplying power to the laptop directly from the charger if it has already been fully charged.
It is recommended to keep the battery at 100% and plugged in for optimal battery health. Lithium-ion batteries have a limited number of charge cycles, so frequent discharging and recharging reduces their lifespan faster. Users who want to run the laptop on battery power can do so, but should not do it frequently and must avoid letting the charge drop below 20%.
Some people also perform battery calibration, draining from 100% to 5%, then recharging to 100% and continuing use, once in every three months to maintain accuracy, especially When battery percentage is behaving inaccurately. So you can do this If needed.

should I go for 80-30% charging or maintaining at 100 always, except during battery caliberation? orelse is there any other better method for good battery heath maintanence?

Your battery is still in good condition. A full-charge capacity of 47–49 Wh, compared with the original 52 Wh, means the battery health is roughly 90–94%. This represents only about 6–10% capacity loss after one year and around 210 cycles. Continue using the same charging method you are currently following, or use the method I mentioned in my first comment. Plugged in and 100% most of time. Rarely on battery power.
You do not need to calibrate the battery strictly every four months unless the battery percentage starts behaving incorrectly, such as showing sudden drops or inaccurate readings. If you already use the laptop on battery occasionally, for example, during emergencies or other situations, as I mentioned in my first comment, you can avoid manual battery calibration.
