Battery percentage stuck on 100%

If your HP laptop's battery percentage is stuck on 100%, this may be due to incorrect charging status reporting. This issue has been found to occur on certain models like the HP 15-series laptops where the battery percentage might not be accurately synced with the Windows Battery icon.

 

Resolution

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

  1. Charge the Laptop: Ensure that your laptop is charged for at least three (3) hours until the battery charge status reaches 100 percent. This might help recalibrate the battery percentage reporting.
