Good day!
I will go straight to the heart of the problem: after the laptop battery was discharged to 0 percent, error 601 occurred. After starting the system, the battery did not charge and showed 0% charge. And after the next restart, it turned out that the battery was not 0%, but about 20% of the charge. From that moment on, the battery charge began to be consumed very quickly in offline mode, even at zero load.
HP Support assistant showed the normal state of the battery. Screenshot attached.
In addition, in the "power and battery" tab in the Windows settings, it says that the laptop screen is on even during the off state and consumes the battery, 1-2 percent per hour. A screenshot is also attached.
Before the battery was discharged to 0 percent, there was no such trend, and the battery did not discharged in the off state by any percentage.
What should I do in this situation?
