Battery problem

HP Recommended
Pavillon x360 dh 1025-tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought a hp pavillon x360 laptop last week. The battery of the laptop does not last more than two and half hours. Is it a battery problem? How can I rectify it? The battery shows 99% and suddenly after 4 to 5 min, it drops to 92%.

Hi
First:- Turn off the computer, press and hold the PWR button for 4 seconds.

Then - Leave only keyboard and mouse connected, disconnect all externally connected
devices such as Docking Station, USB storage devices, displays, and printers.
Unplug the AC adapter from the computer.

Next - Press and Hold the Power button for 15 seconds to Hard Reset.
Rinse and Repeat; Re-Connect the AC adapter.

NOW begin checking/testing/proving the Hardware is fit for purpose.
Power on your PC, press ESC (repeatedly), then F2 at the prompt.
Choose System Tests (Fast Test does a 4 minute hardware check).

Thank you for your comments.

I have done the battery test and it has passed the test. No problem was detected in the test.

Hi @Hariprathap

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the  battery issue.

Appreciate you trying the steps suggested previously 🙂

I'd suggest, try updating the computer -

Step 1 Windows Updates -

1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates.

2) Check for updates.

3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Step 2 HP Support Assistant Updates -

1) In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.

2) Check for updates.

3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Download and install the BIOS, Chipset drivers from this link.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
