Good morning, i've tested my pc for battery yse and it gave me this error number: RE00W (Low battery due to normal aging process). How can i solve this problem since the battery is integrated into the pc?

Hi @ELENA2702

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thanks for explaining the situation so clearly. That RE00W error indicates your battery has naturally degraded over time—a common outcome after years of use, especially with integrated batteries. It’s frustrating when performance dips, but there are ways to move forward.

Here’s what you can do:

1. Confirm Battery Health

You’ve already run a battery test, which is excellent. If you’d like to double-check or generate a report:

  • Press Win + X → Windows Terminal (Admin).
  • Type:
    powercfg /batteryreport
  • This creates a detailed battery report in your user folder. Look for “Design Capacity” vs “Full Charge Capacity” to see how much the battery has aged.

2. Check HP Support for Battery Replacement

Even though the battery is integrated, HP provides authorized service options for replacement. You can check availability here:
HP Pavilion 15-cs3054nl Support Page

Look under Parts & Services or Battery Replacement.

3. Use HP Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI)

To run a deeper battery check:

  • Shut down your laptop.
  • Press Esc repeatedly, then F2 to enter diagnostics.
  • Select Component Tests → Power → Battery Test.

4. Optimize Battery Usage

While waiting for a replacement or service:

  • Lower screen brightness.
  • Use Battery Saver Mode.
  • Disable background apps and unnecessary startup programs.

Let me know if you’d like help interpreting your battery report or navigating the service options—I’ll walk you through it.

Thank you a lot!

I ordered a new battery from HP parts store so i can change it (the pc turns off without advising me after 10min without the permanent connection to the CA cable); it should be arrive on saturday!

I hope  it will be the solution 🙂

Thanks for your advices!

That’s a great step forward—ordering a replacement battery directly from the HP Parts Store ensures compatibility and reliability. Given that your system shuts down abruptly after just 10 minutes off AC power, it’s very likely the battery has reached the end of its usable life, and the new one should resolve that.

Once the battery arrives, here’s how to make the most of it:

After Installation

Run HP Battery Calibration:
Go to HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFIComponent Tests → Power → Battery Calibration.
This helps the system accurately read the new battery’s capacity.

Update BIOS and Drivers:
Visit your model’s support page:
HP Pavilion 15-cs3054nl Drivers & Downloads
Install the latest BIOS, Chipset, and HP System Event Utility.

Enable Battery Care Settings (if available):
Some HP systems offer battery health management in BIOS or HP Support Assistant to extend long-term battery life.

Let me know once the battery is installed—I’d be happy to walk you through calibration or help verify everything’s working smoothly.
