Im recurringly facing the same issue with my 6 month old hp envy 13 x360. But not just with WiFi.. even my bluetooth and usb drivers disappear randomly. I have tried updating the drivers but it keeps happening, even without any sw updates. Only way I can get it to work is to hard power off multiple times and hope it turns on with the drivers fixed. This always happens if my laptop shuts down due to battery drainage, but sometimes it occurs randomly.

Battery drainage?
I don't have your computer so I can only guess/speculate.
If you are letting the battery run low, the computer may start shutting off communication connections to conserve data that is in memory.
It may be wise to keep a battery above 10% and never take it to its limit.
I keep my laptop connected to its AC adapter all the time, unless I need to transport it.
The AC adapter saves wear and tear on the battery.
This is probably of little help. You are likely to find better ideas elsewhere.
I am seeing so many complaints about WIFI connectivity on these boards, I surmise that a windows update happened and messed up the drivers.
I have my wife's ASUS laptop connected by hardwired ethernet so she does not see this issue very often.
