Will a 14.8 volt battery work on my 15-af141dx laptop? It came with an 11.1 volt battery but they are not available.  The data plate on the computer says input voltage is 19.5 at 2.31A.

Hi  @kbob4

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I understand your concern , Kindly note the 19.5V / 2.31A value shown on the notebook's data plate refers to the AC adapter input requirement, not the battery voltage. The battery and power adapter operate differently within the notebook.

I hope this helps.
