Hello,

I am looking to replace the “bulging/swollen” battery in our HP Envy x360 laptop (model #15-cp0053cl).  I opened up the case and the battery inside is an HP #LK03XL.  I realize for optimum performance, reliability, longevity, etc., the best solution is to purchase an HP OEM battery but will most any generic LK03XL compatible battery work in this machine?

Only use batteries that have the exact HP part number
