I would like to replace the battery but I cannot find one for this old laptop. It still runs good so I’d like to have it as a spare

Battery pack - 4-cell lithium-ion (Li-Ion), 2.8Ah, 41Wh (HS04041-CL)

 

You can buy a new battery from HP at the link below...$88.64

 

The HP Parts Store - HP Computer Parts - HP Printer Parts - HP parts - hp batteries - SSD - printhea...

 

You can also do a search by the HP 807957-001 battery part number and see if you can find a compatible aftermarket battery on Amazon, eBay or laptopbatteryexpress.com that references that part number.
