Hi everybody, I need my laptop’s battery replaced. I had a guy who was going to do it for me, but he’s not answering. I wanted to ask you guys if you think is it a good idea to do it myself and if yes what advice would you give me to do a good job. Thank you!

The battery part number and description is:

Assembly-battery 3C 41W 3.6A LI HT030

 

Below is the link to the service manual:

 

Chapter 4 has the tools required to work on the notebook and chapter 5 has the battery removal and replacement procedure:

I also found this YouTube video for your notebook's model series for how to replace the battery.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to carefully read the service manual, and watch the video, and if you think you can do the job yourself, go ahead with it, because it will save you the labor costs.
