I bought a new, authentic HP MU06 replacement battery for my dm4-3050us Pavilion laptop. On startup, I get a message that the battery has low storage capacity and needs to be replaced. Continuing on, once the laptop is booted up, the battery is not recognized at the battery icon, and the HP Support Assistant battery check does not register the battery. The battery charging light also blinks white. This is the second new HP MU06 battery I have tried, with the same problem. The existing MU06 battery does not do this. I have tried all the steps that HP recommends for a blinking white battery light, to no avail. Any solutions would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

Thank you for the quick response. The seller had it listed as an MU06 593553-001 / 593554-001.  But the part number on the battery is 462889-542.  Is this not compatible with a Pavilion dm4-3050us?  Is a 593553-001 also not compatible with that laptop?  Thanks again.
