Hey, my battery is aged and it is not getting charged. PC turns off whenever i remove the charging cable. I run the "HP PC Hardware Diagnostic Woindows" but the battery test is always getting cancelled. What do i need to do to?
Also, if i have to replace the battery, how do i do that?

Hi @AbhiGurujapally,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd like to help!
Since you need battery replacement, you will need additional support from our internal teams in HP. For that to happen, we will give you additional instructions/information via Private Message.
Please check your inbox on the forums page for the private message.
If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

For some reason the pages with model specs, guides etc. has been giving me a 403 error for the last few hours, so I can 't give you the Service Manual with part number and procedures to replace the battery. I'll try tomorrow, or you can try here- https://support.hp.com/us-en Just enter your model name about half way down on the left and follow the prompts.
