I need to replace my battery (HP Pavilion m6-1045dx). The battery is a MO06 (mo 06) 11.1 V, 5225 mAh battery; says to replace with "HP Spare 671731-001", but i'm finding no matches on Amazon/New Egg (most things that are close say they're for an HP Envy).
Any suggestions for a new battery?
Thanks.

Hi @centz005,
Thank you for showing your interest in HP Support Forums. It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts, and other support personnel. I see from the post that you are looking to purchase a replacement battery for your HP notebook and finding difficulty in finding the part on the internet. I'd try my best to help you out with this.
I did check the details in the product specification and found that PC has been shipped with 6-cell 62WHr lithium-ion battery. However, this PC supports:
● 6-cell, 62-Wh, 2.80-Ah, Li-ion battery
● 9-cell, 100-Wh, 3.00-Ah, Li-ion battery
Battery with the part number: From Maintenance and Service Guide
9-cell, 100-Wh, 3.0-Ah, Li-ion battery 672412-001
6-cell, 62-Wh, 2.8-Ah, Li-ion battery 671731-001
I would personally suggest you either contact our HP phone support for the replacement part or you could visit our HP part store website, where you could find the genuine parts for HP products:
